For HYPERFLASH ThermoChromatic Tees
Gecko HyperFLASH tees/tanks are made from 100% Organic Cotton. They are a unisex tee and they do shrink about 5%. We recommend that women and fit/slim men get actual size. For men who like a little more room in their tee, we recommend sizing up one size.
The sizing of these are slightly different than our normal tees, because with the Thermochromatic dyes, they go through a washing process -- which eliminates 95% of shrinkage prior to purchase.
Gecko Hawaii HYPERFLASH shirts are heat activated and change color around 80 degrees, which gives it a super rare, "living, breathing, tie dye" feeling. Think of it as "the mood ring" of t-shirts -- but WAAAAAY cooler!
Thermochromatic technology has improved dramatically since the 1990's, but most apparel companies don't make it, because they are afraid to take risks, and it is REALLY expensive to make. However, our fans kept asking since our relaunch, so we are making it happen again!

This is the coolest shirt I own. It does exactly what it claims, the color change is noticeable but only in the places you want it to be. It’s such a fun concept and I love the design. So retro and also well made!
Back in the 90s, I was that kid who thought nothing was cooler than Gecko Brand Hawaii shirts. I wore them everywhere, and I loved them so much that I went full commitment — I got a Gecko tattoo inspired entirely by the brand. Yes, my teenage brain decided, “This is a lifelong relationship,” and honestly, I regret nothing.
Fast forward to now: I bought matching Gecko Brand shirts for me and my daughter, and I swear the moment we put them on, I heard faint ukulele music and smelled coconut-scented sunscreen. The colors are just as bold, the vibes are just as chill, and they still make me feel like the coolest person at the cookout (my daughter says “most extra,” but whatever).

Not only do these t-shirts bring back a bit of nostalgia, they fit amazing, and are super comfortable! I've also had alot of compliments and people who aren't aware of the "HYPERFLASH", think it's the coolest thing! I even fooled my mom when she said, "I thought you were wearing a purple shirt", I told her I am and she said, "No, it's pink". Definitely a little extra fun there! If you're second guessing on purchasing these shirts, DON'T! I have such a hard time ordering clothes online that actually fit me and now I finally found a company that sells their product true to size and are perfect! I've purchased 3 of these shirts so far, and once I have some extra spending money, I'll be buying more!
