About The Design
Ever since our relaunch, we have received countless requests to bring this one back. Originally, it was a design out of the Hawaii HQ and a "Souvenier Tank" back in the 1980's -- but we hesiteated bringing it back for awhile -- specifically because there are 2 or 3 different coloways that it was originally printed in, and we could never make up our minds around which one to run.
Maybe it was the soul of the artists captured in the hand-drawn art (before computers), or the totally rad colors (before digital printers dulled it down) -- or the memorable logos & design elements -- but whatever it was -- something about this style helped to make the mid/late 1980's feel like our last endless summer.
